This month's theme is "Holiday". We created collaborative mixed groups with our project partners and made an eBook with an imaginary character traveling around different cities in Europe with the Bookcreator tool. Our group toured the city of Paris, working with Bulgaria (Velichka Angelova) and Italy (Rosa La Placa).

Canan Avan Zengin/ŞehitTuranKurtSecondarySchool- Online meeting with Group Paris to make presentations about favourite holiday activities

 

In another April activity, our students prepared presentations about our students' favorite holiday activities and held a meeting on Zoom. In this meeting, our students used English actively by introducing themselves, sharing their ideas about the project and presenting their favorite holiday activities.

In April our students in Group İstanbul had an online meeting.Our students introduced themselves. and they talked about their favourite holiday types and holiday activities.

 We are travelling with "Traveller Boy". While he is walking on the London streets ; we are learning so much about London .We are the writers of London Group

Our Common Holiday Activity

We used bookcreator to produce ebook about Holiday Activity. We used mentimeter to determine  cities adn our main character's name.  We separated 5 Groups and in each group there were 3 or 4 mentors. Our students drew pictures, wrote stories and read sentences aloud.

Ali Hikmet Paşa Secondary School / Serhan Arı Team was very happy and excited. On 24th April 2021 Group London members gathered and our students introduced themselves. They talked about Types of Holidays and Holiday Activities. They made presentations. It was a great experience for our students. Thanks to all Group London teachers and students.

 Travelling is a dream for everyone during this pandemic but our students can do it even in this period with our project "Time For Fun"!  we had a virtual tour around European capitals, visited their most important monuments and tasted their typical local food! Our fantastic team  had a trip to Paris!

We gathered at  Twinspace Chatroom. Our students liked chatroom activity very much. Teachers and students introduced themselves, asked and answered questions related to our project outcomes and web 2.00 tools

In March our subject was Weather and Emotions.Firstly my students prepared word clouds about emotions at WordArt web2 tool and we created a video with them.Then  our students reported the weather conditions from different cities in Europe in our collaborative work with 17 partners from different countries.
